A Fun Evening at the One Piece Live Action Season 2 Event - My Actifit Report Card: March 11 2026

I just came back from the One Piece Live Action Season 2 activation event organized by Netflix. As a huge fan of One Piece, I honestly didn’t feel that excited about going at first. But my wife said it was a rare opportunity. She had a point.

So we headed to Senayan Park, a shopping complex with a large park and lake right in the middle of the city. It’s located very close to the Parliament Building and just across from the Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex.

One thing we have to admit, when it comes to money, Netflix really doesn’t hold back. You can see it clearly in the incredibly detailed sets they build for their adaptations. Everything feels grand and high-budget. And they managed to bring that same level of spectacle to this activation event.

Last year I also attended the Season 1 activation, where visitors could actually step aboard the legendary ship of the Straw Hat crew, the Going Merry.

For Season 2, the themes naturally revolve around locations like Loguetown, Whisky Peak, and Drum Island.

The first thing I really wanted to see was Laboon, the most loyal whale in the world! The Laboon set was fantastic. They even added whale sound effects, which made the whole thing feel surprisingly immersive.

Another set I really liked was Whisky Peak. It was hilarious to see the cacti arranged in such a way into the island. We could also see the weapons of Roronoa Zoro here.

And over at Drum Island, of course, there was Tony Tony Chopper, the series’ beloved mascot. He looked incredibly cute. I honestly believe Netflix will manage to bring him to life convincingly.

So that was today’s little adventure, simple, but really fun. Now I’m officially ready to watch One Piece Live Action Season 2!

Oh, and if you haven’t watched the series yet, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try. The adaptation isn’t bad at all, and it can be a great entry point if you’ve been hesitant to start the original story, which, after all, has already passed 1000 chapters.
