I've been to Lee Valley. I was there when that medal was won. I think I might have mentioned that. 😂 Nice to hangout with you today.

Yes, you did lol! We know a few people who volunteered that year. I was working for TfL at the time as a contractor on their websites etc. We had a sneak preview of the Olympic Park in 2011. I can remember thinking, how in the hell will we be ready? Fast forward 9 months to the opening ceremony, I watched it with my stepson (on the telly) and we were in awe. It was ready!
We’ve a couple of highly skillex freestyle kayakers at our club who have been trained by members of Team GB. I envy their skills. I’m just happy to go on touring trips along our local canal!
Likewise it was great to chat today!
