Real Madrid Building an Army?

The galactico days are over and Mbappe would have been the start of that process until his failed move. After Bale came on the back of Ronaldo's transfer, I haven't seen most players live up to the hype and we have seen that with Eden Hazard.

Eden Hazard was a god at Chelsea and a lot of people would question why he left. He was ambitious and he felt leaving when the ovation was at the loudest would do him a world of good at Madrid but things didn't quite go as good for him. He didn't only struggle for form but he was plagued with injuries. I don't know what Real Madrid would do with him this summer but Real Madrid is ready to build back their army.

With Marcelo gone at his favourite left-back position, even though he wasn't a regular starter anymore, how influence and experience speak volumes. He understands what it means to appease the Madrid fans. Madrid fans can be unforgiving and the moment I saw how they turned on Ronaldo that gave them everything after a derby loss, I knew the standards are high. A player that can play for Real Madrid for 5-10 years must be a great player because the crowd always demand more from their players.

Rudiger signed for Real Madrid already and it wasn't news before now because we all know his destination was Real Madrid. He decided not to extend his stay with Chelsea and I think the issue with ownership and restrictions made it more difficult for them to negotiate the terms of the contract extension. It puts a lot of uncertainty on his future and now, Real Madrid got a warrior in Rudiger.

Rudiger is ready to fight and give his all in a game which is why Chelsea fans like him. His ability on the ball, his thirst for goals and the way he runs with the ball as if he is a midfielder always excite me. I was never his fan until this last season and I would say that was his finest season for Chelsea. He left when the ovation was at the loudest and now the real work starts. He had to reproduce his form if he wants to be endeared to the Madrid fans.

I have a strong feeling that Real Madrid is not done with their business in the transfer market. As faithful as Carvajal is, in my personal opinion, I don't think he is Real Madrid standard. Real Madrid has exciting young players as we have seen Camavinga and Rodrygo... Valverde is also a very good player for Real Madrid and with their recent exploit in the Champions League, I think Carlo Ancellotti has earned the right to be given some transfer targets.

Marcelo is gone and the future of Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard is up in the air, Real Madrid needs capable hands and I sense they are building an army. Benzema is still doing the job at the front but they also need someone to deputise for him because age isn't on his side anymore. With Robert Lewandowski asking to leave Bayern Munich, I won't be surprised if he turns up in Real Madrid colours but let's be truthful, is that what Real Madrid needs? Lewandowski is an amazing player and they might decide to go with experience at the front but it would only mean one of Benzema and Lewandowski have to drop to the bench.

However it is and whoever they sign, I have this feeling that Real Madrid still has business to do in the transfer market and they are building an army to reclaim the La Liga and also win another Champions League crown. At this point, it's looking like it's their birthright.

Cheers.

Alaba and Rüdiger will be one of the best CB-pairings next season! Furthermore, Real has a very great attack with Vinivius and Benzema. Their mdifield is a little old but it has so much experience it will know a soultion for any kind of situation

I agree. I believe if they can get Pogba there, they would click in that midfield more. They have youth and experience which is why I like them.

A deal that did not take its deserved resonance compared to what happens in other deals, especially with the competition around Rudiger from other teams......

Being a free agent must have played a part.

I have my doubts about Real Madrid as their transfer payments are not paid in full like they should and are delayed payments. Real is in serious debt and at some point will be told to curb their spend as it is not sustainable. They owe close to 1.7 billion pounds in outstanding payments including over $230 000 in owed salaries. How are they going to build an army paying peanuts as they have no money.

That's strange. They need to reduce their wage bill desperately. They need to let Hazard and Bale go since they haven't been much of a use to the team. No wonder they signed Rudiger on a free transfer 😂. Thank you for this enlightenment. They have to thread softly.
