Al momento de su primer salto registró un 15:41 para lo cual pidió calma como que sabía que para luego podría lograr algo mucho mejor pero ya para este último salto no se lo podía creer y en un principio se llevó las manos a la cabeza y se detuvo por un momento a esperar resultados decisivos que la condujeron a correr nuevamente pero esta vez de alegría y luego continuó su regocijo lanzándose al piso revoloteando cual mariposa.

En sus inicios estuvo interesada por el voleibol disciplina que jugo por varios años como pasatiempo; su primer éxito lo consiguió en el año 2011 en el Campeonato Sudamericano Juvenil de Atletismo ganando el salto alto, con 1.78 metros, de allí en adelante continuó cosechando éxitos que la han llevado a posicionarse como campeona mundial.
