Rabona - Proud and Disappointed At The Same Time

Hello Rabona!

Welcome to my 4th blog post.

There are many things that I want to talk about in this post, from the financial report, team progress, my feelings about season 71, and my favorite player.

First, let's talk about how my team progressed in season 71

SEASON 71 League 3 (ID 678) - AUGSY FC

I'm a little bit surprised with my team's performance, you know from my last Rabona post my goal was just to keep my team financially stable and to stay on track with my challenge of building a profitable team with 1M RBN.

But after the first match, I see the team played well. Augsy FC competing at top of the table for about 2-3 days before the season ended!

Here is the table before the last match. My team has a chance for getting promoted!

Proud and Disappointed At The Same Time

It was a big final match for my team last season, I am playing home, and middle earthling is a visitor.

Unfortunately, I lost the last match with middle earthling FC by 1-2.

I think it was my fault, I decided to change my strategy before the kickoff, I change my usual formation to 3-5-2 they don't familiar with.

For a moment, I am a little disappointed with the result. Why did I change the formation, I know they will play better with 433 or 4321 🤣

At that moment, I am comparing myself playing games with top football managers around the world. 😂 I can see why even top coach sometimes can't hide their disappointment when their team lost a match. If there is a press conference I think I can't handle that too like they always did after the match.

Not a good comparison, but that is enough to show the fun of playing Rabona.

Proud of my team

On the other hand, I am proud of my team's performance, I never expect they will compete for getting a promotion to League 2, but the team shows me the opposite and they want it more in season 72.

I think it is still good to stay in League 3, because I know there are even more good teams in League 2, and I am not ready for it, or am i? 😂

There is still more work to be done, a lot of stats that I need to improve and train the team every day.

Also, the fanbase is growing. Now I have 16,431 fans in total.

Better Financial

I can see the improvement as well for the team financial. Last season I got RBN 47,680 for profit.

And I know the mistake I made that cost my team financially.

It was Shop Capacity that caused me to lose some RBN in every match. I shouldn't upgrade to shop capacity to Level 1. Instead, I need to watch the financial report per match and upgrade when it is really necessary.

The good side is with the growth of the fanbase right now, I hope it can increase my merchandise sale in season 72.

I still need to be careful with team's finances because 5 of my player's contracts will expire at the end of season 72.

Favorite Player - Stuart Kania

There is a weekly challenge "Who is your favorite player in your current team?" Even though my favorite player is not on my current team this season, I still want to choose Stuart Kania as my favorite player.

It is okay if it is not eligible for that challenge because I don't have an idea who is my favorite player on my current team this season. 🤣

So, my Favorite player is Stuart Kania. Yes, he is the player that offers 9 times a contract higher than before, which I include in my last post.

Stuart Kania is one of my first-team squad since I first played Rabona. He is a real stopper! I mean look at the stats below. He outclasses the best defender in my current team right now.

He has man-marking abilities skills, he only took a shot twice, but always be disciplined to defend his position from the opponent attacking players.

Even better, he has a higher duel record comparing the other player with the same DEF 85 stats!

I don't offer him a contract renewal this season

Too bad, my team's financial situation is not helping me to renew his contract. Moreover, in the last negotiation, he wants a salary 22 times high, I can't afford you, Stuart.

And he wants 29k right now. What a player 😂

Next Plan

My first plan is to scout 5 players in mid of this season or when season 73 begins. I need to replace 5 players on my first-team squad with a contract duration of 1.

I hope I can bring my team to get promoted this season and keep my team's financial stays in green.
