Even though I am on the other side of the ocean there was a time that WNBA games were being advertised as being shown in the bars in the morning here. That has stopped and was only happening for a couple months. Perhaps it coincides with what you are talking about. Or maybe it was just a trial run that didn't work.. .lol

It became wildly popular here for about 10 months. but it is fading and if they don't do something soon to recapture that magic people are going to forget again.
