Tachyon is CalSol’s first cruiser class vehicle! Cruiser class vehicles seat 2+ people, designed for practicality. Our 9th-generation solar vehicle, Tachyon first raced in Formula Sun Grand Prix 2019, winning second place. We also raced Tachyon at the 2019 World Solar Challenge.
This is really amazing solar powered CalSol's 9th Generation Vehicle designed by the calsol's students team.

I've seen some of the early generations of Tachyon> Love the work these few researchers/engineers have done. They are true creative souls and I wish them the best. I wish these tech would come out for normal everyday cars too. There's too much sunlight wasted on the roofs.
The solar car will greatly save both the environment and us from fuel expenditure. Of course, for now, we are even seeing electric cars on the roads. I hope these cars are on the road soon.
