I accompanied my wife on a shopping trip to a couple stores to stock up on necessities. We also made sure to pick up some treats and things for the upcoming Christmas celebration. When we got home I got started on making her favorite sugar cookies. There are still a whole lot baking days ahead. Gingerbread cookies are next and then a pie or two. After that? Who knows, we'll just have to see what strikes my fancy.
