I had a lovely surprise on Xmas morning, Santa hadn't forgotten me, my looooong awaited Basic Income arrived! 🎄🎅🎉😅
I managed to eat out after all! I had planned to go with a friend but when I still hadn't been paid on Friday, I didn't invite anyone. I really didn't expect it to arrive on a Saturday, let alone December 25th!!! 😅
So I took the night off working here & elsewhere online and went out for dinner and drinks! I found some friends, so it was a good night! New years will be better planned, so even better...hopefully! 😜😆
On Sunday I was going to tell you all about it, but my connection has been down ever since! I'm writing this at home, then when I go to walk the dog and pay some more rent at the ATM's, I will pass by outside a local hotel for their WiFi. Then I will upload the photo and post this! 😉
I will also claim my daily GoodDollar and check my email for anything that maybe bureaucratically urgent! 💪😃
Yesterday, I was really busy, paying off debts and getting various shopping bits and bobs done! Apart from the backlog, in the last week, the xmas tree lights died, my TV receiver died, the shower head broke and last night my hot water bottle burst! It's as if my house knows I got a little money to spend! 😆
I have to do whatever necessary to post my 9,000+ steps! 👣💪😅

Thank you, sweetie! It was strange that the internet was down for 3 days, when it happens, it's not usually more than a day. Perhaps the Maroccans close by have added stronger signals to something, the TV reception for most channels was down too and my mobile/cell phone kept going to Maroccan networks!!! Yes that particular bouganvillea must be the largest in town and is going strong even in chilly January!

Yeah I've been busy with other things too, I know the feeling! It has been a bit of a 'holiday', even though I didn't plan one, can't afford one and didn't go anywhere! lol

Actually the internet isn't free here. I tried to get it installed in my house, but the reception was negligent as my walls are of thick stone! Since the owner of the bar nextdoor, owes me a large sum of money and his internet is always on, I just use his signal with a booster I pratically hang out my window!! I have the hotels password because before Covid I worked there and I use it in case of emergency, as theirs is always on too! lol
I can also put megas on my phone, but again the stone walls mostly impede the signal.
So as you can see, not free, one just has to be creative! lol
