Have to be honest, this is the first olympics I have ever watched, it is far too political and corrupt for me, but there was nothing else on so I tuned in. Loving it (apart from the dancing on ice, is that even a sport?). Don't forget to add in China as a big drugs cheat.
I will never watch the summer ones , hopping skipping and jumping does nothing for me and again, mega corrupt and political.

Yes, it is a sport and even though it's not my favorite, it's far better than some that they call sports today, like video games and God knows what there are there these days.
Yeah, I was thinking of mentioning China too as they have done all the tricks in the cheat book already and you can never trust them 😬
I agree, it's political and corrupt, but what can you do?
I guess cheats always prosper, if it was mandatory for G S and B winners to be tested then everyone would aim to be 4th and claim the gold by default!
I'm not familiar with the testing system, I know they are tested randomly and occasionally but I'm not sure if they test everyone during the competition 🤔
Thinking its just random
That’s exactly why I stopped watching the Olympic Games. It all feels like a spectacle mixed with politics and money. At this level, I honestly find it hard to believe that world-class results are achieved without some form of performance enhancement. It often seems like the winners are not only the strongest athletes, but those whose teams are better at staying ahead of testing systems — or using substances that haven’t yet made it onto the banned list.
To me, it sometimes looks more like a battle of pharmaceutical labs than just a competition between athletes.
I’d rather spend that extra hour with my son than sit in front of the screen watching the show. It feels more meaningful, more real — and definitely more rewarding.
Good point well made @russia-btc
I read yesterday that two cross country skiers have been caught using banned substances.......Applying some sort of prohibited "lube" to their skis, banned because it might be "harmful to the environment" Fuck me it gets worse.
🤣🤣👍 AAAhhah ha - show of idiots!
Lol, there are some creams that keep your muscles warm, I know that from the time I was actively jogging but have never used any. For me it was just to stay healthy, so why complicate things.
But looks like cheating has no limits.
Those muscle warmers , like wintergreen in the Uk smell lovely
