My Actifit Report Card: June 13 2025
Hello Hive and Actifitters! 👋
Today I am back to share a little story from the physical activities I do in the garden. This morning I started by clearing the land and cutting the grass with activities that are quite high in calories and refreshing the mind!
I started the morning by harrowing the land and collecting grass. The back and forth movement while pressing the harrow is enough to make the muscles of the hands and back work actively.
After that I used a lawn mower. This time not only measuring the top of the grass, but really getting to the roots to make it cleaner. This activity is quite draining because you have to explore the land with stable concentration and hand strength.
🍌 Time to Rest: Delicious Boh Kodok & Salak Fruit
After sweating and draining my energy, it's time to take a break. In between that time, I enjoyed a snack typical of our area, namely Boh Kodok made by my mother (in Acehnese). This food is made from bananas that are diluted, mixed with flour, then fried until cooked and golden brown. The taste is sweet, soft, and crunchy on the outside is perfect for re-energizing. 😋
In addition to boh kodok, I also ate some fresh snake fruit. This local fruit does have a distinctive taste – a refreshing combination of sweet and slightly sour!
Today was indeed tiring, but I am very grateful to be able to stay active and productive. Simple activities like cleaning the land actually bring great benefits, especially when finished with delicious local food.
