Chamber updates | 916th actifit report | Alive & Thriving on Monday (29.05.23)
Assalamu Alaikum! How are you? I hope that you are doing well. I am doing well too, Alhamdulillah. Here is the actifit report number 916! It is also the Alive and Thriving report on Monday, 29th of July, 2023.
Before going to the main topic, let us enjoy two fresh morning photographs. I took it today morning (Tuesday) after performing my Fajr prayer.
Both of the pictures were taken with the night mode on by Samsung M31.
On Monday, in my chamber, I consulted 27 patients. In the visa medical section, a total of 51 people came for the check-up. I examined a portion of them.
Of 27 patients, there was an injury case. A Bangladeshi worker fell from a height and got an injury to his left wrist. When came to me it was already swollen. X-ray left wrist joint showed a fracture at the lower end of one of the forearm bones. I referred him to the higher centre for putting plaster of Paris (POP).
Another Omani lady came with recurring fever and fatigue for the last 1 month. She was a known sickler! Her spleen was already removed while she was a child (she couldn't even remember the event). Her blood results showed marked abnormalities; the haemoglobin was less than 7 g/dl, the white cell count was over 16k and the platelets were above 8 laksh! Seeing the report, she wanted to go to the higher centre herself before I even started counselling her!
Regarding physical activities, the following activities were done on Monday:
- A 20-minute walk on the treadmill
- Playing with my kid after lunch and dinner!
- Casual walks in between my home, office and mosque!
