Stones within kidneys, usually do not cause pain. When it dislodges and stuck in the ureter, it causes the excruciating pain. I hope that your husband never experience such pain!

Thank you. My cousin has terrible pain from passing kidney stones. I hope, too, that my husband does not experience it.
