My Actifit Report Card: November 20 2022
Working in retail sales only gives me one, sometimes two Saturdays off. This was one of those days and even though we had freezing conditions for the first time it was a beautiful day.
First frost bites on kale, the one produce left in our little vegetable patch promise to increase the flavor and in about two weeks we can finally harvest this batch. Grühnkohl is a local specialty of North West Germany's. When I moved up here somewhat twenty years ago, it took me some time to get used to it and now I love it.
Will make a posting about it once we cook our very first own batch. ☺️
I spent almost five hours in the back yard cleaning up the garden shed and collecting branches that fell of the trees during the last storm.
My son helped with his little tractor and trailer, transporting them to the fireplace. We collect them and when new year's eve is here it will make a nice fire in the evening.
Of course, having a free day, besides playing some splinterlands and surfing the hive network, there are some chores and cleaning to be done, this time inside the house. Nevertheless, the app still counts the movements so there's some solace in doing these tasks besides the better living environment. Earn crypto while you sweep. 😉
