Finally A Less Stressful Bears Win!
For Black Friday I got the best deal ever! The Chicago Bears decided to give me 50% off of my stress!

Look I’m not complaining. I have really enjoyed the Bears five game win streak. After all, it has been so long since the Bears had that long of a win streak that I can’t even remember… and neither can the internet becuase I looked and can’t find one. I love seeing the Bears win while their rookie coach and basically rookie quarterback, learn from their mistakes. But oh my god has it caused me some bear heart attack moments.
That is why Friday was an absolute treat. Not only did the Bears get to play on a day I’ve never seen a game played on (Black Friday), they spent much of the second half completely in control of the game.
That all started in the third quarter. Up just 1 point with about five minutes left in the third quarter, the Bears turned the ball over. The Eagles took over at the Bears 36 yard line and it seemed a sure thing they would take the lead. It seemed even more sure when the Eagles lined up for their signature “rush push” on third and one. The Eagles almost never fail on this nearly unstoppable play… that is until the Bears figured out how to solve it. The Bears dedicated a defensive back, Nashon Wright, to circle around the side of the play to strip Jalen Hurts of the ball as he pushed and got pushed for that one yard. Once the Bears took that ball away, the game was over. They ripped the ball and the Eagles heart out.
The Bears scored touchdowns on their next two drives and took a commanding 15 point lead. The way they did it was relying on their running game and eating clock. This time they tore out the heart of the Eagles’ defense.
Even though the Eagles scored a touchdown and a field goal down the stretch to close it to a 6 point game, it never seemed that close. For once I was not nervous for the last hour I watched the game. It showed how different two 8-3 teams could be. The Bears are on a high. Their fans are elated and can’t believe it’s true. The Eagles fans, who won the Super Bowl last year, are screaming for that Super Bowl winning coach to be fired. It’s actually quite insane if you ask me. Yeah the Eagles are down but their offensive line has been devastated. at least give your guy a year of grace.
But whatever, that’s the Philly fans’ problem. It looks like the Bears finally have an awesome coach. That is something g I have not been able to say my entire life.
What a deal!
Wow!!! big congratulations to you @hanshotfirst and a bigger one to the Chicago Bears 🐻 for defeating the Philadelphia Eagles,at least no talk of defibrillator 😂.
The Bears' defense held firm despite injuries, securing the win and bolstering their NFC North position ahead of a matchup with Green Bay.
Congrats again. Detroit's season is pretty much over I think. They area just dropping too many games that they need to win. The path to the post season isn't easy and their defense is still not up to the challenge. Campbell is spread too thin. What started as a pretty good looking season has turned into a crap show. Long time Lions fans aren't surprised though.
Yeah I thought getting ragnow back would help but he didn’t pass the physical. Tough to lose offensive lineman and both coordinators.
Yeah, unfortunately next week might be too little too late if he is able to come back. Guess I need to cheer for Stafford again...
Who would have imagined at the beginning of the season that they would have that 8-3 record? The truth is that everyone's work is excellent. Perhaps, as they say, mistakes are corrected along the way and in the daily battle, but the important thing is to see their fans excited about a future that promises to maintain that core of mostly rookie players for a long time.
A win is a win, now without as much suffering as before, but the important thing is that they continue to improve as a team, and well, victories like this are good for their hearts since they don't suffer so much.
The whole game was filled with excitement and joy. And you gave a very nice analysis of stopping the rush-push play and credit to the coaching staff. As a Bears fan, I will remember such a game for a long time.
Whenever a favorite team wins like this, it is a fact that the joy doubles. If we are sitting on the ground and watching, we become much happier. And if the matches are such that one team is dominant from the beginning, then all the fans who are watching the game get less depression and less stress and congratulations to the winner team.
When the effort is excessive, winning a match becomes much easier, as everyone has seen in today's match
