Hace algunos años ví esta película de a ratos, siempre me pareció interesante aunque debo confesar que no la ví completa, solo por fragmentos. Estos días la han estado dando en la TV y mientras trataba de ganar algunos cofres en Splinterlands la veía de soslayo. Pude notar algunos detalles interesantes que me hicieron pensar en esta publicación; lo primero, definitivamente no estaba dirigida a un público infantíl y lo segundo es que estaba llena de metáforas tejidas a modo de sub relato. Hoy a mediodía la volvieron a dar, solté mi móvil y me dispuse a mirarla como se debe, concienzudamente. Aquí les comparto mis impresiones.

La historia nos presenta una moraleja sobre el uso de la tecnología, bien usada puede traer beneficios pero si se usa sin ética las consecuencias pueden ser devastadoras.

En fin, no me arrepiento de haber dedicado casi 80 minutos en ver esta película que si bien no podría catalogar de obra maestra, es sin duda un film muy interesante por todos los elementos que en su conjunto engranan perfectamente dándole coherencia a la historia. En cuanto a la producción artística de la imágen es sobresaliente, no esperaríamos menos de una producción de Tim Burton quien gusta de dinamizar la acción en paisajes fríos y lúgubres llenos de grises y ocres que pasan a formar parte de la historia. A nivel argumental ciertamente algunos silencios que se solapan en la fluidez de los acontecimientos que podrían justificarse en el reto de narrar una historia compleja en poco tiempo. Para finalizar recomiendo mirar esta película y si ya lo hicieron, pues vuelvanlo a hacer pero esta vez como yo; concienzudamente.
