Bayern Munich close to signing Spanish Segunda player

It is rare to hear of major European clubs looting in the second-best ranks around the world. Nevertheless, that is exactly what Bayern Munich will do before the transfer deadline expires on Monday.
According to the Catalan media "Sport", the Germans are very interested in picking up the 23-year-old Spanish midfielder Marc Roca, who last season surprisingly moved down with Espanyol.
Negotiations should have started, and according to the newspaper, it will be a four-year contract with the possibility of another year extension, if the player lives up to the expectations of the German giants.
Marc Roca has a buy-out clause of around ₤45 million, but after Espanyol's relegation to the Spanish Segunda Division, the market value fell significantly and an exit has been almost inevitable. "Sport" believes to know that the price that Bayern Munich will pay is around ₤20 Million. That is, less than half of the buyout clause.
Marc Roca is a strong and technically gifted midfielder with a good sense of position and leadership qualities. He was a regular on the Spanish U/21 national team, and there are high expectations that he will soon become a regular part of the national team. Last season, Marc Roca played 33 games for Espanyol.
