Last season, Jesse Lingard was loaned out from Manchester United to West Ham, which was a huge success for the 28-year-old Englishman, who was a big profile at the latter.

Now, however, he is back under Ole Gunnar Solskjær's wings at United, but that is not exactly because Jesse Lingard is satisfied with his current status at the club.

In any case, according to the BBC, the offensive creator has decided that he does not want to extend his current contract with the English big club, where his contract expires next summer.

The BBC writes that the decision is partly due to the fact that Manchester United chose to bring Cristiano Ronaldo home to the club the other day. Thus, the prospect of playing time for Jesse Lingard may be even less in the future, and therefore he now wants to leave the club at the end of his contract, according to the BBC.
