Only Medical remain for Hamsik to complete move

Rumors have been swirling in the air in recent days, but now it is good enough. Marek Hamsik is millimeters from being a player for Swedish IFK Gothenburg. According to several Swedish media, including GP-Sporten, the club states on its website that the Slovak is undergoing a medical at the club.

Earlier Monday, you could see photos and videos on social media, where Marek Hamsik had landed in Sweden, where he was later expected to end up in IFK Gothenburg and put his signature on an agreement with the Swedish club.

And that deal seems to be in house now. According to IFK Gothenburg, Marek Hamsik only needs to complete the mandatory medical check before he can pull the blue and white jersey over his head in the future.

It is a significant reinforcement that the Swedish Allsvenskarn club has attracted. Marek Hamsik was for many years a huge player in the Italian big club Napoli, for which he has played a total of 520 matches and scored 121 goals.

In 2019, however, Hamsik surprisingly resigned in Napoli, where he is a living club legend, when he switched to Chinese DL Yifang.

Now, however, the 33-year-old Slovak will in future play for Swedish IFK Gothenburg.
