Spotify owner secures money to bid for Arsenal

Espn now reports that Daniel Ek has secured the financial foundation to bid for Arsenal and hopes to take on a "long journey" with the London club in the future.

In an interview with CNBC on Wednesday, Daniel Ek thus confirms his interest in public for the first time and reports saying ready to bid:

"I have secured financial foundation for it (a purchase, red, and I will bring a tempting offer to the owners, and I hope that they will listen to me.

Arsenal's owner since 2018, Stan Kroenke, has so far been reluctant to sell, but time will tell if he will still be tempted to sell, now that the investment from Daniel Ek's side is guaranteed.
