A true injury hell is currently ravaging Liverpool. First it was the team's great defensive general, Virgil van Dijk, who broke down after a tough duel with Everton's goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. Then followed Trent Alexander Arnold, who had to retire with an injury and most recently Joe Gomez has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to surgery, and now Jordan Henderson.

But as if the mishaps were not enough for a hard-hitting Liverpool team, the team must now do without another star for the next while. Andy Robertson has been out for the next few weeks with a strain.

According goal.com, which at the same time says that the injury occurred in Scotland's match against Slovakia earlier Sunday, where Andy Robertson was in action.

Thus, it is really only Nathan Phillips, Rhys Williams and untested Sepp van den Berg who are left in the back chain at the English big club.

However, it is expected that Fabinho will soon be back on the training ground again, and he has previously covered the position in the central defense at Liverpool.

On the other hand, the defending English champions will most likely also have to do without the team's Egyptian world star, Mohamed Salah, who was found infected with corona the other day.

When it rains, it pours. On the plus side, it's time for them to splash the cash and get some new players.

Sure! I think they might just go hard on Koulibaly in the January transfer window.
