Thiago Alcantara may be heading away from Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich could again celebrate a championship in the Bundesliga. Once again, the team has been absolutely superb. One of the players who may be heading away from Bayern Munich, however, is 29-year-old midfielder Thiago Alcantara. The Spaniard contract will expires in the summer of 2021. The club has tried to extend the contract, but Thiago has not yet signed. Therefore, rumors of a possible shift away from the German are echoing.

According to the German media SportBild, the creative midfielder is looking for new challenges after winning all seasons of the Bundesliga since his arrival in 2013. Apparently Thiago should have told his teammates that he would very much like to move to Liverpool and work together with Jürgen Klopp. Bayern Munich, however, will very much need with him.

Thiago has played in Bayern Munich since 2013, when Pep Guardiola also joined the club. The midfielder's most targeted season was in the 2016/2017 season, where he scored six goals in 27 games.
