Manchester City's Argentine striker Sergio Aguero is leaving the club this summer, but the club's manager Pep Guardiola does not expect "The Citizens" to acquire a new expensive striker when the team's highest scoring player ever soon becomes a thing of the past at the club. Guardiola does not think it is realistic for the club to pull the big checkbook rather than a new striker when they already have more players who can fill the role of striker.

"We have enough players in the first team squad, we have exciting academy players, and the economic situation in the world means that there is a great chance that we will not buy a striker for next season," Pep Guardiola said according to Sky Sports.

City have been one of many clubs that Norwegian striker Erling Haaland has been rumored to, but the specific rumors will not be addressed by Manchester City's Spanish manager.
