Sunday ChitChat – Week 3 Highlights and New Prompts

Hello everyone,

Do you consider yourselves reasonably well-informed about what’s happening worldwide in this magnificent sport we call cycling?

We’re starting a new week of this initiative and I was absent when the roll was called… in my defence I’ll say… nothing, I don’t really have a good excuse… 🤣 let’s leave it at that. Perhaps I’ve been a little lazy. But maybe tomorrow things will take a big turn when it comes to my training and rides.

Let’s go back to the first question I asked… which magazines or sports media do you usually follow to keep up with what’s happening in the cycling world? You can also say you’re not interested at all… that’s valid. It all depends on how you use the bicycle, what motivations led you to it, and which ones keep you on it today.

So for this Sunday, I’ve come up with these questions. You can choose one of them or all three. It’s entirely up to you. And remember, I’ve set up a counter to give you time either to get inspired or simply to be in the mood of ‘come on, let’s contribute to this little chat room’.

1. Which outlet or magazine do you follow most often to keep up with the latest cycling news?

2. When it comes to cycling news, do you enjoy diving into detailed articles and thorough analysis, or do you prefer the speed and simplicity of short clips and quick social media updates?

3. What type of content motivates you the most: interviews with cyclists, equipment reviews, or inspiring stories from amateur riders?

Perhaps in your free time you do a bit of scrolling on Instagram and come across motivational reels about cycling or bicycles… I also encourage you to share them this week. And if you have an athlete or even an influencer you admire, share and tell us why. It will always be interesting to know your preferences.
