My Actifit Report Card: August 13 2024

Good evening to all my Hive friends! Today, there was a special event 10 km away from my village, in the main city. It took place at the Galle Fort Samanala Stadium and was called the Kites Festival. Sirasa TV was the main media partner for the event. Since my child is fond of kites and I hadn’t experienced a festival like this before, we decided to attend together. As we arrived, we were greeted by a sea of people. The festival was vibrant and colorful, with kites filling the sky all day long.

A variety of kites dotted the sky, including some very large and unique ones we had never seen before. My child and I walked around the stadium, taking in the different experiences. Each kite showcased the creativity of its maker, with some truly stunning designs. Cash prizes were awarded for the most beautiful and creative kites, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.

Although the stadium was warm, the cool breeze from the sea created a joyful atmosphere. The live music performance that accompanied the kite-flying event added to the charm of the festival, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy. The smiles on the children's faces brought happiness to all. This was the first time such a festival was held in our city.

Finally, I spent a few more moments enjoying the festival before heading home, carrying with me some wonderful memories. Since the event was broadcast live on Sirasa TV with accompanying music, I didn't stay out too late. It was a fulfilling day, being part of such an event. I'll see you again soon with another Actifit experience.
