A great victory for Japan

Yesterday (23) the Japanese team managed to record the second breakthrough victory of the tournament before 4 days had passed in this year's football world cup.

By defeating the strong German team who were the former world champions.
The match between Germany and Japan was held as the first match of Group E in the preliminary round.

In the 35th minute of the first half, they managed to take the lead in the game after succeeding in a penalty kick awarded to Germany.

From then until the 74th minute, Germany was leading the game with 1 to 0 goals.
But Japan scored a goal in the 75th minute and managed to tie the game 1-1.

Undeterred, Japan scored another goal in the 85th minute, silencing the German crowd at the Khalifa Stadium.

The German players fought till the last minute of the game to save their pride, but that effort was not successful.
Accordingly, the Japanese team managed to get a historic victory with 2 goals to 1.
This is the first time that Japan defeated Germany.

This is the second breakthrough match win in this year's tournament and previously Saudi Arabia managed to defeat the strong Argentina.
Germany lost to Mexico in the first match of the 2018 World Cup and they had to leave the first round of the World Cup.

Accordingly, the German team will play the remaining two matches of the first round of the tournament with great pressure, say sports commentators.
