Ecuador beat hosts Qatar to win the first match of the Yesterday FIFA World Cup

The first World Cup football tournament to be hosted by the Middle East region started in Qatar in a grand manner. In its first match, hosts Qatar and Ecuador joined. Ecuador scored their first goal in the 16th minute of the match. They scored their second goal in the 31st minute of the match.
Accordingly, Ecuador took the lead in the first half with 2 goals to 0. Neither team could score in the second half.
Accordingly, Ecuador won the first match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup by defeating the host Qatar 2-0.

Ecuador played really well. They take all advantages and beat the hosts at the opening match. But I feel sorry for the Qatar team, they tried hard more than 10 years to build a good team for the world cup. But they didn't!

Ecuador were brilliant yesterday and am glad they could win. Qatar didn’t start the first half well but by the time they could get into their stride it was too late for them.

A very logical and deserved victory for Ecuador compared to what we saw in the opening match of the Qatar World Cup 2022

Quite frankly, Qatar did not only lose the match... I see the loss of their chances in order to qualify fully... At this level, how can it face Senegal and the Netherlands???...

On the other hand, Ecuador gave a good return during the match with a respectable performance that could surprise us in the upcoming matches
