Predict and Win! Claim your Free Hive Bet for the final week of the Premier League
Round 37 of the Premier League saw us promote @mengao 's Samba Pools, a Social Betting App that allows users to predict the result of football leagues around the world and win Hive.
My honest review of the app? It's awesome!
As someone who likes to bet every now and then but really doesn't like to loose money, this is a great way to have a bit of 'skin in the game' while it still being fun.
The fact that you're guaranteed to win at least a share of the pot at the end of the game means that with a fairly small stake, you can ride out those matches and weeks where nothing goes as you predicted without whipping out your account.
Of course, if you do like a flutter then you can bet larger amounts and make riskier predictions in a bid to beat the odds.
Here's how the payout finished for Round 37

We'll roll those 3 over into this week which would make 13 but that's an unlucky number so instead let's make it 14 free bets available which neatly doubles what was given in round 37.

Round 38 Previews
Now for the games themselves!
Let's be honest, there's not quite as much riding on the final games of the season as we'd all hope for.
They'll be none of this
or this
In fact, they'll be no more Gary Linekar whatsoever! Ooops...
Leicester can at least claim to be going down fighting with 7 points from their last 3 matches. Their attempts to stay in the Premier League were doomed from the start as they lost their manager, key players and had the uncertainty of points deduction hanging over them throughout the first half of the season.
The highlight for the Foxes supporters was Vardy's 200th goal for the club in his 500th and final home game for a club that he's done remarkable things with in his long career.
The rumour mill suggests this will also be manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy's last match at the club with Leicester set to spin the managerial merry-go-round and bring Russell Martin in as boss for next season.
In the other dugout, will this be Bournemouth manager Iraola's last game in charge of the Cherries? He's certainly impressed many over his 2 year tenure on the South Coast but will be rightly disappointed that his side managed just a single point during a run of 6 Premier League games from February to April which included fixtures against 4 clubs who will finish in the bottom third of the table.
That along with their very good form against the top sides raises the question whether his tactics and set-up are better suited to Bournemouth being the underdogs?
City need a point from this match to guarantee them a Champions League spot next season.
To say it's been a disappointing year for the club would be an understatement. Miles off the title and with no trophy to show after their Cup Final defeat last weekend, this represents the low point of Guardiola's reign at the Ethiad.
Does he have the energy and desire to rebuild his side over the next couple of years?
On paper, you'd assume a point at Fulham is a certainty right? But their away form of late continues to be very poor. A nil-nil draw at Southampton last time out means City have scored just 4 goals in their last 5 Premier League away games which included 4 games against sides in the bottom third of the table.
For Fulham, it's a case of attempting to match their highest ever finish in a Premier League (9th) which they will do if they can win and West London rivals Brentford fail to do so.
After 2 successive promotions, it was always going to be a tough ask for the Tractor Boys to stay in the Premier League. They were competitive in the first half of the season despite not getting their just rewards for decent performances but a couple of heavy defeats around the New Year appear to have flawed this Ipswich team and they've never since been able to get back to their feet.
West Ham are of course one of the teams who will be grateful that this year's league has 3 clubs that are so far off the pace. If they don't get s!%t sorted out over the summer then it's difficult to imagine they won't find themselves in a more competitive relegation battle in 12 months time.
As has been the case for several seasons, West Ham look a much better outfit away from their grumbling home supporters. They've taken points from 10 of their away trips so far this season, the same number as Aston Villa (although Villa have more wins).
Ipswich are another side who don't like to play at home with just 1 league win for them here all season! Surely the players will want to give their loyal fans something to cheer about and I reckon we might see a few goals in this one.
At the start of the season, who would have picked this match as a rehersal for the Charity Shield in August? Not many is the answer! In fact, I heard that you could odds of 2000/1 for Liverpool to be champions, Palace to win the FA Cup and Newcastle the League Cup at the start of the season.
Liverpool's run-in has been less like a victory parade and more like a group of school kids watching the clock tick over until home time. However, last home game of the season, I'd bank on Anfield being a pretty vibrant atmosphere and of course, Palace's emotional and physical energy can also be called into question following their recent triumphs.
If I was a betting man (and I guess that's what this post is ultimately about) then I'd go for a home win but with a few goals for both sides.
United's fans have been remarkably loyal to the side throughout the last few seasons and to be fair, the club have rewarded them with 3 finals and 2 trophies. In United's current state, that's an incredibly good return.
However, they'll want more and the events of Wednesday night mark the latest in a series of lows.

United fans waking up on Thursday morning
It's going to be a very interesting summer for the club and of course, because it's Manchester United, whatever happens (good or bad) will be played out in the public arena.
Villa have more than just pride to play for here. They are aiming for back to back Champions League finishes which would be a remarkable achievement. To get that they have to win (the easy part based on United's recent form) and then hope that one of the 3 clubs above them slips up.
And here is one of those 3 clubs...
If Newcastle can get a top 5 finish after also winning a trophy, I think Eddie Howe should win manager of the year. He won't, of course, because that's not how the clowns who award these things think but the former Bournemouth manager is on the verge of delivering arguably the clubs best ever season.
Things were quite different for both these clubs when they last met in early October and saw out a dull 0-0 draw. Both sides were struggling to score goals, just 8 and 7 respectively from their opening 7 games of the season and by the end of that month both teams had slid further down the league. If you'd have offered Newcastle fans a shot at a top 4 finish and Everton supporters a guaranteed 13th place at that stage of the season, they'd have bitten both hands off.
Unsurprisingly Newcastle's later season form has been based off a very strong home record. They've won their last 6 here in the league with an aggregate score of 20 - 6.
One limiting factor for them continuing that run will be the availability of star striker Alexsander Isak who missed the game at Arsenal last weekend. The club have been unable to confirm whether he'll be available for this match while if you believe the rumour mill, then if he doesn't play for Newcastle today, he might not do so again in the future...
The one final day fixture that has something riding on it for both teams.
Whatever the result for Forest, they can look back on what has been a remarkable season and statistically the biggest turnaround year on year of the Premier League era.
For Chelsea, a Champions League spot and what we assume will be a Conference League win would mark a good season within the context of everything else that has happened on and off the pitch in recent times. Of course if they lose here today then it would instead be a genuone set back in the club's ambitions.
Forest have endured a difficult Spring, particularly at home where they've taken just a point from 3 games, suffering defeats to Everton and Brentford and managing just a point against lowly Leicester.
Neither of these sides are playing particularly free flowing football at the moment with Forest scoring 9 in their last 8 league matches and Chelsea 10 in the same period. That plus what's at stake here is likely to make for a low scoring affair.
Poor Southampton. Their last 2 Premier League seasons have seen them finish bottom but they have at least shed the unwanted record of lowest points tally, silver linings and all that.
Arsenal will see this season as one of missed opportunities. I've said that I don't think they (or any other club) is good enough to beat a fully fit and firing City squad making this season their chance. 14 draws is what has really cost them while the number of goals scored has dropped dramatically and their defence is conceding more frequently too.
Despite their recent struggles at this level, Southampton have given Arsenal a difficult time of it lately. They lead at the Emirates when the 2 sides met earlier this year and while Arsenal eventually came back to win that match, it does represent the only time they've tasted victory in the last 4 league meetings between the clubs.
One suspects that they'll be a few sore heads in North London but equally, you'd also expect a buoyant crowd keen to continue the celebrations of a first trophy in 17 years.
Spurs win on Wednesday came using anything but Ange Ball tactics and while it's fair to say the occasion here will be very different, his squad are still likely to be without the majority of their most creative players.
Brighton meanwhile are having a fine finish to the season. Only Man City have managed as many points (10) in their last 4 games as the Seagulls have. A point here would gurantee them 8th spot and that could depending on various circumstances, see them back in Europe.
There have been 14 goals in the last 3 games between these 2 and I'd expect we'll see a couple more in this one 2 as both sides look to enjoy a final day festival.
Brentford too have an outside chance of grabbing 8th spot, although their defeat against Fulham last weekend means that prospect is no longer in their own hands.
Goals have generally come easily for these 2 throughout the Spring, Brentford in particular have 13 in their last 5 matches. Let's not also forget the 5-3 scoreline when these 2 met in October. Yes, please for another match like that!
Wolves 4 match unbeaten run at home which has eased them well clear of relegation came to an end against Brighton last week. Meanwhile, Brentford have lost just once on the road in their last 10 away trips
I'm on it
