I agree with you that the salary cap shouldn't exist or stricter conditions should be imposed to prevent that from happening. The truth is that there are cases where a team can pay a player for several years without producing any points and at the same time without getting any first-round or second-round picks is something that is incomprehensible. Let's hope they can correct the issue of free agents being cut by their previous team to free up salary capital.
