In my post yesterday about HiveCubeSat it seems I left out one important detail:

Under U.S. law (my jurisdiction) I believe that any funding from a DHF proposal would be taxed. Maybe there's a workaround by setting up the HiveCubeSat project as a non-profit.

I don't know. It was a hypothetical thought experiment so assume the IRS doesn't exist for that post.

The IRS may not exist unless one thinks it does or has consented to existence thereof which is the case for most unknowingly (unwillingly).
