RE: No Porsche F1 Team for 2026 - Wrong Attitude

I think for a team to make it to F1, they should have to come up the ranks of F3 and F2. :P

Only because I want to see how many seconds behind a F1 car would be a VAG vehicle. :D

Don't forget that F1 cars don't run on Diesel, so there's another reason Porsche / Volkswagen / Audi can't be engine suppliers or their own team.

In all seriousness, after the most recent race, I don't think all tracks would safely support more cars on the grid, but I would imagine that the "gentleman's club" of existing teams would also not want new rivals making their jobs more difficult.

I thought the same, they should go through other kind of category to then apply F1, Audi is set to design their own engine, about the tracks I think the same just look at what happen in Australia now imagine 6 or 10 more cars?? crazy

The Saudi Track is pretty scary too. I'm doing a new series where I'm recording myself pretending to be Ferrari last year, and doing every race, full length, in Virtual Reality, with my Steering Wheel and Pedals.

I did Practice 1 at Saudi earlier today, and gosh, that thing is narrow and fast. :|

I can't imagine a circuit like Monaco with more cars, either. Spa feels okay, it's a proper track, same with Monza and COTA, but so many of the other circuits (Singapore in particular) would be nightmarish with more cars.

Maybe a throw back to the old days, where you have to QUALIFY for the race, not just determine the starting order.
