Buenos días amigos de hive, en especial a la comunidad de full deportes. Como ustedes bien saben, mi contenido está más enfocado a lo que es el deporte rey, el deporte más popular del mundo que es el fútbol. Pues si bien es para muchos el más favorito, hoy les comenzaré a hablar del otro juego que me apasiona mucho. El Basket.

En el día de ayer 18 de octubre, se levantó el telón de una nueva temporada del mejor Básquetbol del mundo, con dos partidos muy interesantes. El primero fue el de Boston Celtics contra Philadelphia 76ers en el TD Garden de la ciudad de Boston, el segundo de ellos fue entre los campeones defensores, Golden State Warriors contra los Angeles Lakers. En esta ocasión estaré más volcado al primer partido por razones obvias, ya que soy acérrimo fan de los orgullosos verdes, y por eso les estaré redactando todo lo sucedido en el día de ayer.

Boston Celtics inicia esta temporada con el gran reto de llegar de nuevo a las finales de la NBA, y de conseguir el ansiado anillo 18 para la ciudad capital de Massachusetts. Los celtics estrenaron una nueva camiseta en homenaje al gran Bill Russell (leyenda celtic que falleció este año y que es el único jugador en ganar 11 anillos de NBA).

Good morning hive friends, especially to the full sports community. As you well know, my content is more focused on what is the king sport, the most popular sport in the world which is soccer. Well, although it is for many the most favorite, today I will start talking about the other game that I am very passionate about. Basketball.

Yesterday, October 18, the curtain rose on a new season of the best basketball in the world, with two very interesting games. The first one was Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers at the TD Garden in Boston, the second one was between the defending champions, Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Lakers. This time I will be more focused on the first game for obvious reasons, since I am a diehard fan of the proud green, and that's why I will be writing you everything that happened yesterday.

Boston Celtics starts this season with the great challenge of reaching the NBA Finals again, and to get the coveted 18th ring for the capital city of Massachusetts. The Celtics unveiled a new jersey in tribute to the great Bill Russell (Celtic legend who passed away this year and is the only player to win 11 NBA rings).

Los dirigidos por el entrenador interino Joe Mazzulla salieron a la cancha de esta manera:

• Smart en la posición de Base.
• White haciendo las veces de Escolta/Base
• Jaylen Brown como Alero
• Jayson Tatum jugando como Ala-pivot
• Al Horford de Pivot.

En el frente estaba un equipo como los 76ers que tienen piezas muy interesantes, como el joven Tyrese Maxey y estrellas ya consolidadas en la liga, como lo son Joel Embidd que ha estado por segunda vez consecutiva en la posición número 2 del MVP por detrás de Nikola Jokic y por supuesto también el Ex Houston Rockets, "La Barba" James Harden.

En el primer cuarto los de Philadelphia salieron dominando de la mano de Harden que prometió estar en mejor forma física este año, y vaya si se le notó el cambio. Anotó varios triples, iba al aro sin que lo pararan, parecía por momentos al viejo Harden que alguna vez nos encandiló en los Rockets.

Boston respondió de inmediato ganando el segundo cuarto con un Jayson Tatum que no se quería quedar atrás y que Harden se llevara todos los flashes, Brogdon apoyaba desde la segunda unidad. El ex Indiana Pacers ha sido una gran incorporación para estos subcampeones de la NBA, el manejo de balón que te da, la inteligencia a la hora de comandar los ataques, todo eso sumado a la muy buena defensa que posee, lo hace un jugador de los más completos de la liga a nivel perimetral. También le da al equipo esa tranquilidad de dar descanso a los Brown y Tatum para que él tome el liderazgo de las tareas ofensivas. Sin dudas, un fichaje que le dará muchas cosas interesantes a los orgullosos verdes.

The team led by interim coach Joe Mazzulla took the field as follows:

• Smart at the point guard position.
• White at shooting guard/point guard.
• Jaylen Brown at Small Forward
• Jayson Tatum playing the power forward position
• Al Horford at the Center position.

In the frontcourt was a team like the 76ers who have very interesting pieces, such as the young Tyrese Maxey and stars already consolidated in the league, such as Joel Embidd who has been for the second consecutive time in the number 2 position of the MVP behind Nikola Jokic and of course also the former Houston Rockets, "The Beard" James Harden.

In the first quarter Philadelphia came out dominating thanks to Harden who promised to be in better physical shape this year, and the change was noticeable. He scored several three-pointers, went to the hoop without being stopped, he looked at times like the old Harden that once dazzled us in the Rockets.

Boston responded immediately winning the second quarter with a Jayson Tatum who did not want to be left behind and that Harden took all the flashes, Brogdon supported from the second unit. The former Indiana Pacers has been a great addition for these NBA runners-up, the ball handling he gives you, the intelligence when it comes to commanding the attacks, all that added to the very good defense he possesses, makes him one of the most complete players in the league at the perimeter level. He also gives the team the peace of mind to give rest to Brown and Tatum so that he can take the leadership of the offensive tasks. Undoubtedly, a signing that will give many interesting things to the proud Greens.

El encuentro se iba al descanso igualados a 63 en el marcador. A pesar de ser el primer encuentro de la campaña, parecía un partido de Postemporada por la intensidad y emoción que le ponía cada jugador de ambos equipos. En el segundo tiempo, los Boston Celtics salieron con todo para comerse a su rival y demostrar que son los máximos candidatos a llevarse el banderín de la Conferencia Este, Tatum fue muy determinante en el tercer cuarto a la hora de atacar y también a la hora de defender. Resulta increíble la manera en la que lanza al aro, la amplia gama de recursos que posee a la hora de atacar, media distancia, larga distancia, posteado de espaldas al aro. Por eso es el jugador franquicia, tiene un talento que se le cae de los bolsillos.

En el último cuarto, Los Sixers no pudieron seguir el ritmo fulgurante de los Celtics que apretaron mucho en defensa, para robar y correr a campo abierto con Brown y compañía. Excelente el rendimiento de Grant Williams viniendo desde la segunda unidad para aportar 15 puntos y metiendo un triple importantísimo en el último cuarto acabando una posesión para mantener la diferencia, resistiendo así la última embestida de los de Philadelphia dirigidos por el Ex entrenador de los Celtics, Doc Rivers.

The game went into halftime tied at 63 on the scoreboard. Despite being the first game of the season, it seemed like a postseason game because of the intensity and emotion that each player of both teams put into the game. In the second half, the Boston Celtics came out with everything they had to eat their rival and show that they are the best candidates to win the Eastern Conference pennant, Tatum was very decisive in the third quarter when it came to attacking and also when it came to defending. It is incredible the way he shoots at the rim, the wide range of resources he has when attacking, mid-range, long distance, post with his back to the rim. That is why he is the franchise player, he has a talent that falls out of his pockets.

In the last quarter, the Sixers couldn't keep up with the Celtics' lightning pace, who pressed hard on defense, to steal and run to the open court with Brown and company. Grant Williams' performance was excellent, coming from the second unit to contribute 15 points and scoring a very important three-pointer in the last quarter, finishing a possession to maintain the difference, thus resisting the last onslaught of the Philadelphia team led by former Celtics coach Doc Rivers.

Destacados por los Celtics - Celtics Highlights

Boston ganó su primer encuentro con mucha firmeza con marcador de 126-117. Destacar a Marcus Smart que sigue demostrando por qué fue elegido el mejor defensor de la temporada pasada. Tatum y Brown anotaron 35 puntos cada uno, siendo la tercera pareja en la historia de la NBA en marcar 35 o más puntos cada uno en un primer partido de temporada. Muy bueno lo del Pivot recientemente adquirido por los Celtics, Noah Vonleh, aportando altura, energía y muy buenas defensas ante una estrella como lo es Joel Embidd. Muy buen aporte de Blake Griffin viniendo desde la banca, dándole presencia y energía a Boston en la pintura, es un jugador que si se mantiene sano y en óptimas condiciones, puede ser una pieza muy importante para este equipo. Malcolm Brogdon metió 16 puntos, y apunta a ser uno de los candidatos a mejor sexto hombre de la liga.

Conclusiones - Conclusions

Estos Celtics prometen y mucho para esta nueva temporada, en las finales pasadas no se pudo contar con un banquillo confiable, y esa fue la gran diferencia entre Boston y Golden State. Para esta nueva campaña y con adiciones al Roster como: Vonleh,Griffin,Brogdon, más el crecimiento de Grant Williams y de Sam Hauser pueden hacer la gran diferencia. Los titulares en general siempre andan muy bien, Tatum es el jugador franquicia, Smart es el líder y capitán, Jaylen Brown es la segunda espada, Al Horford aporta presencia y muy buena altura al equipo. En conclusión, los Celtics están para llegar de nuevo a las finales y luchar mano a mano contra quién sea, lo del subcampeonato en la temporada pasada es aprendizaje y madurez para este equipo, a los jugadores se les ve muy motivados y con ganas de comerse la cancha. Esperemos que consigan el anillo 18 en honor al gran Bill Russell, así como también los Lakers lo consiguieron el mismo año en que la leyenda Kobe Bryant partió a nuevos rumbos.

These Celtics promise a lot for this new season, in the past Finals they did not have a reliable bench, and that was the big difference between Boston and Golden State. For this new campaign and with additions to the Roster as: Vonleh, Griffin, Brogdon, plus the growth of Grant Williams and Sam Hauser can make a big difference. The starters in general are always doing very well, Tatum is the franchise player, Smart is the leader and captain, Jaylen Brown is the second sword, Al Horford brings presence and very good height to the team. In conclusion, the Celtics are to reach the finals again and fight hand to hand against anyone, the runner-up last season is learning and maturity for this team, the players are very motivated and eager to eat the court. Let's hope they get the 18th ring in honor of the great Bill Russell, just as the Lakers got it the same year that the legend Kobe Bryant left for new directions.
