Sponsoring Jack's Rash Longboard Race

Image

Recently I both attended, and sponsored the longest running longboard event in North America known as Danger Bay. Part of the week long event is a race in Halfmoon Bay, British Colombia, called Jack's Rash, and run by my good friend Raggie English.
The event itself is a great hill, with speeds up to 85km/h, all grip run, and a very popular race here on the coast. Due to it being all grip with no need to slide, riders are able to ride in tight packs, with the key to winning being taking good lines, and using drafts to pass. Making this a very strategy based race, and a great event to watch.
Most of the video is filmed at a corner we call power lines, which is one of the fastest corners, and definitely the best filming spots, but there's still a chance that a pass can take place between there and the finish line. That said it looks like everyone I saw in the lead at this corner, managed to defend off any passes, and maintain their leads.
