Last night's football match between Napoli and Fc Barcelona put a smile on my face. Barcelona's performance was just top-notch, their passes, ball control, chances created everything about their playing style was perfect. Xavi gave his word and had turned the team around. I have a feeling this is just the beginning, if they keep playing this way then I'm sure they have a chance of winning the Europa League.

Barcelona dominated the first half and made it impossible for Napoli to make any attack. The first goal came early just 8 minutes played. Barcelona made a counter-attack with Adama Traore leading the charge down the Napoli defence and laid a pass to Jordi Alba who beat the keeper playing the ball into the goalpost. 5 minutes later Frenkie De Jong curled the ball outside the box into the goalposts.

Napoli got their first goal through a penalty. Ter Stegen tried to stop Victor Osimhen which led to the penalty. Lorenzo Insigne took the penalty and played the ball into the left side of the goalposts. Barcelona kept the heat on, made several attacks and kept control of the ball.

Gerard Pique made the score sheet on the brink of halftime. Jordi Alba played a low cross into the box and the Napoli defenders were unsuccessful in clearing the ball out. Pique responded quickly and played a low shot into the goalpost Barcelona got their two-goal lead back.

Aubameyang sealed the victory for Barcelona at the 56th minute. Adama Traore dribbled his way and passed the ball into the box. Aubameyang's first touch was a shot into the goalposts. Barcelona still made several attacks. Luke De Jong could have made it 5 but couldn't connect his shot on target. Dembele also made some moves, but the ball kept going wide of the goalpost.

Napoli scored their second goal of the match at the 87th minute by an open play shot from Matteo Politano. Time was not on Napoli's side as the match ended a few minutes later. Barcelona won on aggregate–5-3. I said it during their first match against Napoli with the way they played in the first leg they should have won it, glad they made all their chances count, a job well done.

Barcelona has made it to the round of 16. No confirmation yet on their opponents in the Round of 16. I'm sure the Catalan giants are ready to face any challenge.
