The International break is almost over, a lot has happened over the past week and a half, especially to the Barcelona players who were called upon to represent their various countries in the Uefa Nations League and international friendly.

Barcelona has suffered a huge blow on their squad as some of the club's important players got injured in their various International matches. The list of Barcelona players that got injured was Kounde, Frenkie De Jong, Depay and Araujo.

Dembele was part of the list but it seems France's Medical staff have given him the green light since the injury was not that serious, although he was given the green light he was out of the squad for France against Denmark which France lost by two goals to nil.

The news of the players picking up injuries one after the other was strange to me, I assumed that Xavi had told his players to fake getting an injury because of the club's busy schedule this coming October which the club needs its squad to be 100 per cent fit for all the matches in October, but my assumption was wrong.

Kounde has a biceps femoris injury in his left hamstring and Araujo has a right adductor longus tendon avulsion. Out of all the players mentioned above, Araujo's injury was the only one that requires surgery, after the surgery Araujo is expected to be out for about two months which means he will be missing the world cup in Qatar which is just a month away.

Barcelona next month's schedule is going to be a tough one for Xavi, Barcelona will be facing Villarreal, Athletic Bilbao, Valencia, Real Madrid and two other team's in Laliga, Inter Milan home and away and Bayern Munich in the champions league.

Real Madrid is leading Barcelona with a point in Laliga, Barca needs to keep on winning their streak and win against Madrid in the upcoming El Clasico match to sit on top of the table in Laliga they can't afford to lose a match in Laliga if they do Real Madrid would have the advantage and increase their lead in the race to be crowned the Laliga Santander Champions.
