Hello guys it's another weekend of football today the two top dogs of the premier league, Manchester City and Liverpool, played against each other in the FA Cup semi-finals. This was the third time both sides have faced each other, neither of them has won in a major meeting but last night was different.

Liverpool opened the scoreline from a corner kick played by Robertson. Ibrahim Konate scored a brilliant header into the goalpost. The French defender has marked his third goal for Liverpool in all competitions although is yet to get a goal in the EPL. The second goal was scored in the 17th minute of the first half, a costly mistake from Manchester City's goalkeeper who thought he could cut Mane but the Senegalese player made a strong tackle on the goalkeeper, got the ball into the goalpost.

Sadio Mane got his second goal of the night just on the brink of halftime. Thiago Alcantara made a great pass to Mane, and the Senegalese player volleys the ball into the back of the goal post giving his team a three-goal lead before halftime.

Manchester City scored their first goal of the night just 70 seconds into the start of the second half. Jack Grealish took a strong shot into the goalpost and was assisted by Gabriel Jesus. Manchester City players were eager to get another goal but got stopped by a strong defence and incredible goalkeeper.

Manchester City scored their second of the night in the 90th plus minute. Riyad Mahrez shot on goal was parried by the goalkeeper, Bernado Silva capitalise on the open ball and made a tap into the goalpost. I thought City was going to level the scoreline but time was not on their side as the referee blew his whistle to signify the end of the match.

Both sides played well but Liverpool came out with a victory. Fun fact Liverpool manager Klopp has won nine matches against Pep Guardiola since he took over in 2015, while Guardiola has won a total of eight matches and draw only five matches, it certainly is a strong rivalry. So guys that's all for now, thanks for stopping by, and Happy Easter.

I must say it was a well deserved victory. Manchester City rallied late into the game but it was too late. Liverpool did their business earlier.

Manchester City didn't take the match serious which led to their knocked out, I hope they won't make that mistake in the Champions League.

They are used to playing terribly in the UCL which is why they have never won it. Let's see what they would do.

Sometimes I don't understand Pep, he does everything to make a team that prepares the youth and does the impossible, and in one match and with an incomprehensible philosophy, the positive interaction of the team is lost. A loss like this is able to break the team's back in the future, especially since you are in the time of decisiveness!!!

The same thing I was thinking, now it's not the time for him to lose any match they have a lot of pressure now from the EPL to the UCL I hope Pep does not make any mistakes again if he does it will be costly.
