My Champions League And Europa League Analysis

Hello fellow football and sports lovers, so I have been doing a little analysis of the teams that will be heading to the Europa League after match day six which will be the last match in the Uefa Champions League next week Tuesday and Wednesday.

The first on the list will be group A which Liverpool, Napoli, Ajax, and Rangers are in together, Napoli is currently the leader of the group with 15 points and just 3 points ahead of Liverpool who is in the second spot of the group.

Ajax is in third place with 3 points and Rangers are in the bottom with zero points, Ajax is already on its way to the Europa League even if Rangers wins their match next week they will still be bottom because they conceded more goals than Ajax in the group, so better luck next time for Rangers.

In group B we have FC Porto, Club Brugge, Atletico Madrid, and Bayern Leverkusen in the table, Club Brugge are top of the table with 10 points and are just 1 point away from FC Porto who are on the second table.

Atletico Madrid gave up their chance to qualify for the round of sixteen against Bayern Leverkusen on Wednesday where both teams played a 2-2 draw. Atletico Madrid is third in the group with 5 points and are just one point away from Bayern Leverkusen. Bayern Leverkusen still has a shot to make the Europa League if they beat Club Brugge and hope for Atletico's loss against Porto next week when they all play their final group-stage match.

In group C we have Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Barcelona, and Viktoria Plzen in the group, Bayern is top of the table with 15 points and is already through to the round of 16, and Inter Milan is in second place with 10 points, and is also through to the round of 16. Barcelona is third on the table with 4 points and is already headed to the Europa League, while Viktoria Plzen is at bottom of the table with zero points and is completely out of the competition.

In group D we have Tottenham Hotspur, Sporting CP, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Marseille. Now, this is a tricky group, Spurs are on top of the table with 8 points and are 1 point away from Sporting CP and Frankfurt, while both Frankfurt and Sporting CP are 1 point away from Marseille, any slip-up from a team could give the other team's an advantage and might just qualify for the round of 16, I will be keeping an eye on this group and see how it goes down next week.

In group E we have Chelsea, AC Milan, FC Salzburg, and Dinamo Zagreb in the group. Chelsea is in the first spot with ten points and has already secured a spot in the round of 16, but the remaining three still have a lot to fight for next week. If AC Milan lose they will have to say goodbye to the round of sixteen if Salzburg loses their match next week, they will lose both a place in the round of 16 and a spot in the Europa League and if Dinamo Zagreb wins against Chelsea next week which I doubt the Blues will let, Dinamo Zagreb will secure a spot in the Europa League.

In group F Real Madrid, RB Leipzig, Shakhtar Donetsk, and Celtic are all in group F. Real Madrid are top of the table with 10 points and are through to the round of 16, the real battle will be between RB Leipzig and Shakhtar Donetsk who are going to play their last group stage match against each other next week.

RB Leipzig is currently second on the table with 9 points while Shakhtar Donetsk is third on the table with 6 points but if Shakhtar Donetsk secures a win against Leipzig next week both teams will be levelled on points but Shakhtar Donetsk will be through to the round of 16 because they will have a two or more goal difference against Leipzig who have 0 goal difference.

In group G we have Manchester City, Dortmund, Sevilla and FC Copenhagen in the group. Manchester City are top of the group with 11 points, Dortmund are second with 8 points, Sevilla are third with 5 points and FC Copenhagen are bottom with 2 points. Sevilla are out of the round of 16 race and are headed to the Europa League while FC Copenhagen are out of the competition.

In group H the final group of the Champions League, PSG, Benfica, Juventus and Maccabi Haifa are all in the group. PSG and Benfica are both leveled with 11 points and are through to the round of 16, while Juventus and Maccabi Haifa are both levelled with 3 points with Juventus taking the third spot of the table and I think are going to the Europa League except Maccabi Haifa manage to get three points of Benfica which would give them a chance to qualify for the Europa League that's if Juventus lose to PSG next week.

That is it guys a lot of big names are headed to the Europa League, and by the looks of it the Europa League will be more popular this season. We wait for the final result next week and I will make sure to write a post on the confirm list of teams going to the Europa League so stay tuned.
