Real Madrid Draw Against Real Sociedad Has Put Barcelona Five Points Ahead Of Them In The League Table

Source

Barcelona supporters around the world are celebrating the draw between Real Madrid and Real Sociedad last night on match day 19 of Laliga Santander, the draw has put FC Barcelona five points clear of Real Madrid in the league table. It is already a huge step forward for FC Barcelona to win the League title for the first time in four years and could be FC Barcelona's first league title without Leo Messi.

FC Barcelona last won the league title in 2018, it was a great season for Barcelona as they were close to reaching the Uefa Champions League final but lost away from home to Liverpool who made an incredible comeback after losing 3-0 in the first league to beat Barcelona 4-0 in Anfield, who knows we would have gotten an El Clasico final and Barcelona might just have won the UCL because in that season they were better than Real Madrid.

This season Barcelona has been better than Real Madrid, although the Catalan side lost in their first league meeting last year which is the only loss Barcelona has had in all their 18 league matches this season but the Catalan giant paid Madrid back by snatching the Spanish Super Cup trophy when both sides faced each other in the final.

Real Madrid are a stubborn team, and I know they won't back down from the title race and will do whatever it takes to be on top of the league for the title race and it goes the same way for Barcelona. Watching Barcelona this season they are doing pretty well in away matches this season, winning seven out of seven matches away from home which is an impressive stat. Barcelona's defense record is the best in Europe with only conceding six goals in all league matches this season.

It is too early to celebrate but am confident Barca are going to win the title in June and the match that will decide it will be El Clasico where Barcelona will host Real Madrid in the Spotify Camp for their second meeting in the league. So guys that will be all, for now, thanks for stopping by, and have a great day.
