Yesterday was packed with a lot of interesting matches, from the Premier League to Laliga Santander. Liverpool who is in the race for the EPL title dropped a vital two points after they played a draw against Tottenham yesterday afternoon, the reds are now levelled on points with defending champions Manchester City. City has a game today against Newcastle United, if Manchester City wins today's game they will be three points clear of Liverpool.

Manchester United suffered a 4-0 loss away from home yesterday against Brighton, this loss has put United in a tough position. The Red Devils' chance of qualifying for the Uefa Champions League next season is over and they are not certain of a place in the Europa League next season.

Ronald who desires to play in the champions league is affected by the result of the Club, the Portuguese might see his way out of the club this summer transfer window. There are also some rumours about the Portuguese link with Bayern Munich, if the rumours are true I think Ronaldo will leave United for Bayern, we just have to wait and see how it goes in the transfer window this summer.

Chelsea yesterday played a 2-2 draw against Wolves, the Blues have won only one of their last four matches. Trincao's stunning goal in the 79th-minute and Conor Coady's late goal in injury time secured Wolverhampton a point. The Blues, however, are on the edge of losing their spot in the champions league, Arsenal are four points away from Chelsea and if the Gunners win against Leeds today the point will be down by one, hopefully, Chelsea won't let their guard down and keep their UCL spot.

In Laliga Santander Barcelona beat Real Betis 1-2 away from home, Barcelona's win against Betis has sealed the Catalan giant a place in the Champions League. What a season it has been for Barcelona, the first time the team had to play without Messi, it was tough and I am still surprised the team under Xavi's management quickly adapted. I don't know how many times I have said this but Xavi has done a great job.

Next season Barcelona will compete and I am certain the club is going to win a trophy. So, guys that will be all for now, the weekend fixtures are still on, don't miss out.
