The Catalan Giant (FC Barcelona)
Football has been my favourite sport for as long as I can remember, it's something I have indulged myself in daily by playing football games(e-football 2022) or trolling other clubs and players based on their performance.
FC Barcelona is one of the biggest clubs in Europe which everybody knows, they have won the Laliga trophy 26 times and the Uefa Champions League five times. A lot of big names have played for the club, players like Ronaldo(the Brazilian), Johan Cruyff, Diego Maradona, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho and the magical man Lionel Messi.
All these players have made history with the club and have won the Ballon d'Or award as FC Barcelona players. Last weekend the club played their second Laliga match against Real Sociedad away from home and as expected they made an impressive performance and won the match.
The first 45 minutes of the first half were intense, Lewandoski who joined the club from Bayern Munich in the ongoing transfer window scored his first goal after only 47 seconds following Balde's low cross in the box. The home side didn't back down as Isak scored the equaliser six minutes later.
Both sides could not get a goal in the remaining minutes of the first half but that all changed when Ansu Fati was substituted in the second half. Ansu Fati came off the bench and assisted Dembele who made a low shot to give Barcelona the lead. Ansu Fati was again involved in another goal two minutes later after Pedri sends in a pass into the box Ansu received the ball and played a perfect pass to Lewandoski who doubled Barca's lead and scored his second goal as a Barcelona player.
Barca again found the net as Ansu Fati scored the fourth goal for Barca after an incredible pass from Lewandoski, Real Sociedad was stunned and unable to get another goal into Barca's goalpost because the goalkeeper stood his ground and blocked all balls coming towards the goalpost.
Barcelona is currently sitting 5th on the Laliga Santander table with four points, it was an impressive performance for the team and I can tell it is just the beginning.

Barcelona is one team I respect a lot because they play good football, I have paid attention to their recent matches but I believe that they are still a great team regardless of Real Madrid's dominance in the league.
With their new signings, I expect a lot from them this season.

I used to think I liked barca till Messi left and I realized I was just a Messi fan. Sha I don't really watch La liga so that also plays a part. I do think Barca have a bright future, but I feel they'll continue to be under Madrid for a long time
