The New Comeback Kings

The weekend is here again, and the English Premier League had some amazing matches that shook the weekend. Arsenal made another impressive comeback at the Emirates Stadium yesterday against Bournemouth, it was not the first time the Gunners made an impressive comeback the reaction of the players showed yesterday's game was special to the team and the manager.

Bournemouth threw the first blow in the 1st minute of the first half, it was a quick goal by Bournemouth and Philip Billing was the one who gave Bournemouth the lead in the first minute of the match. The second goal of the match was scored in the 57th minute of the second half from a corner kick, Joe Rothwell from Bournemouth swung the ball into the box, and his teammate Marcos Senesi headed the ball into the goalpost.

Arsenal scored their first goal in the 62nd minute and began their comeback, Saka swung the ball into the box but the Bournemouth goalkeeper punched it away, and Emile Smith Rowe from Arsenal headed the loose ball back into the box and found Thomas Partey who fired the ball into the goalposts.

The Gunners leveled the scoreline in the 70th minute, Thomas Partey dribbles his way past three players and played a through ball to Reiss Nelson who immediately played a cross into the box and found his teammate, Ben White received the ball and played a shot which the goalkeeper blocked but the ball was already past the goal line and the referee gave the goal.

The Gunners were searching for the winning goal but Bournemouth tightened their defense when it all seemed the game would end in a draw, the Gunners scored their third of the match in the 90+7 minute of extra time, Martin Oedegaard swung the ball from the corner into the box but the ball was intercepted by a Bournemouth player, Reiss Nelson went from the loose ball and played a powerful shot into the goalpost.

The roar in the Emirates Stadium was loud, with all the Arsenal supporters shouting and jumping for joy, and the Arsenal players all running around the stadium and hugging each other. The match came to an end and Arsenal took all three points, the Gunners are now five points clear of Manchester City on the EPL table.

Arsenal impressed me yesterday and surely they are on the right track to winning the EPL title this season. I will still be skeptical about Arsenal winning the title because I still think Manchester City will fight to the last day to defend their title. So guys that will be all for now, thanks for stopping by, and have a great day.
