Tottenham Comeback Against Leeds United In The EPL
Tottenham played against Leeds United in matchday 15 of the English Premier League yesterday, that was Tottenham and Leeds United's last matches of the month as all domestic teams are going for a break because of the upcoming world cup tournament which is just a week ahead. The match between Tottenham and Leeds had everything, goals, come back, and intensity from both teams.
Leeds United opened the scoreline a ton in the 10th minute of the first half, Aaronson from Leeds United played a pass to his teammate Summerville who dribbled his way past two Tottenham defenders and played a shot into the goalposts and gave Leeds their first goal of the match. Tottenham leveled the scoreline in the 25th minute, Ivan Perisic swung in a cross into Leeds's box but a Leeds defender intercepted the ball away the danger was not over as Harry Kane quickly recovered the loose ball and played a shot into the goalpost.
Leeds United got their lead back just before halftime, Marc Roca from Leeds swung the ball into Tottenham's box but Hoejbjerg intercepts the ball, the danger was not over as Rasmus Nissen recovered the ball and heads it to Rodrigo who played a powerful shot into the goalposts and made the scoreline 1-2.
Tottenham equalized again in the 51st minute of the second half, Kulusevski dribbled past two Leeds defenders and played a through ball into the box finding Harry Kane who went for goal with a shot but the ball was blocked by a Leeds defender, Ben Davies from Tottenham quickly capitalize on the loose ball and fired a shot outside the box, the ball deflected passed a Leeds defender and went into the goalposts.
Leeds United was still hungry for goals and they got another in the 76th minute, Marc Roca played a through ball to his teammate, Rodrigo received the ball and made a run down the box then played a shot into the side net of the goalpost. Tottenham again equalized 5 minutes later with an incredible strike by Rodrigo Bentancur, his shot got deflected but he still claimed the goal.
Rodrigo Bentancur completed the comeback from Tottenham just three minutes later after he scored his first goal. Kulusevski dribbled past two defenders and then played the ball to Bentancur as he tapped the ball into the goalposts and got his second goal of the match. The match ended and Tottenham took all three points, it was an entertaining match Leeds United fought harder but could not keep up with Tottenham.
