Mi informe de Actifit: abril 6 2025

Sunday is usually a day of rest, but duty called 😂. I did some simple activities at home and, after noon, I went out to walk the streets of the city. I went with the firm conviction that any day is perfect to disconnect and enjoy the outdoors.

El domingo suele ser un día de descanso, pero el deber me llamó 😂. Realicé algunas actividades sencillas en casa y, después del mediodía, salí a recorrer las calles de la ciudad. Fui con la firme convicción de que cualquier día es perfecto para desconectar y disfrutar del aire libre.

I had no direction in mind, just moving my body and letting my intuition (and my steps) guide me. I started the tour in Plaza Pichincha, a quiet place where you can have a good time chatting. I continued my walk and my eyes diverted me to one of the biggest trunks, a small squirrel jumped nimbly, I managed to capture it with my phone.

No tenía ningún rumbo en mente, solo mover el cuerpo y dejar que mi intuición (y mis pasos) me guiaran. Comencé el recorrido en la Plaza Pichincha, un lugar tranquilo en el que se puede pasar un buen rato conversando. Seguí mi caminata y mis ojos me desviaron hacia uno de los troncos más grandes, una pequeña ardilla saltaba ágilmente, logré capturarla con mi teléfono.

I loved this chance encounter, the beauty of nature is also found in its fauna. I continued my journey to the Plaza Bolivar, this is an emblematic site of the city, full of history and culture. It is usually crowded, but being Sunday it was an exception.

Me encantó este encuentro fortuito, la belleza de la naturaleza se encuentra también en su fauna. Continué mi travesía hacia la Plaza Bolívar, este es un sitio emblemático de la ciudad, lleno de mucha historia y cultura. Por lo general, está concurrido, pero por ser domingo era una excepción.

After wandering around for a while, I continued to Plaza Ayacucho. This place is wide, so you can walk freely. Having the Manzanares River on my side, you can feel the freshness, the breeze ruffled my hair.

Después de deambular un rato, seguí hacia la Plaza Ayacucho. Este sitio es amplio, así que se puede caminar con soltura. Al tener al Río Manzanares de costado se siente la frescura, la brisa ondeaba mi cabellera.

This square is usually the perfect place to practice skateboarding, at that time a group of kids were demonstrating their skateboarding skills. I stayed watching for a while, it is quite a spectacle to see the passion they have for this sport.

Esta plaza suele ser el escenario perfecto para practicar skateboarding, a esa hora un grupo de chicos estaba demostrando sus habilidades con la patineta. Me quedé observando un rato, es todo un espectáculo ver la pasión que tienen por este deporte.

Afterwards, I went back, looking for the pieces of bread I had left behind, just like in Hansel and Gretel 😂. I returned home with the satisfaction of having stimulated my creativity.

I enjoyed this walk, sometimes, you just have to let yourself go and enjoy the moment. On walks we usually make discoveries that make our day. We keep adding experiences to this roulette called life. See you soon.

Posteriormente, volví atrás, buscando los pedazos de pan que había dejado, tal como en Hansel y Gretel 😂. Regresé a casa con la satisfacción de haber estimulado mi creatividad.

Me gustó este paseo, a veces, hay que dejarse llevar y disfrutar el momento. En las caminatas solemos hacer descubrimientos que nos alegran el día. Seguimos sumando experiencias a esta ruleta llamada vida. Nos leemos próximamente.
