INTRODUCTION

Hello actifiters and hello to everyone reading this blog! Before starting this blog, I would like to extend my greetings and gratitude for reading my writing, and hopes that this blog makes your time worth it. I hope that whoever is reading this blog is doing great in life and facing hardships with confidence and perseverance. I hope you have bountiful days ahead! KEEP THE GRIND: ITS FOR THE GAINS!

I have been working out for more then a year now, the consistency was the worse enemy that I have ever been faced with. It took a while to develop the momentum to be able to slingshot my consistency from down to up. I am saying all of this, is because tonight when I was in the gym, I met some new comers that needed some obvious guidance. Well if you look at them in comparison to my physic, they would look like the one that was working out for years, since they look bulky and I'm clearly a sleeper build. This thought really didn't stop me from approaching them and tried to correct their form and started small talks to develop good communication. We had a good conversation, they welcomed my advices well and tried to execute them properly. They cannot believe that I started as a very skinny died that only weight around 45 kg and now after more than a year of hard work and consistency, I am now at the 58-60 kg range. I showed them a picture of myself back when I was still starting to workout, and told them the your only competition is yourself.

SOME BACK AND BICEPS WORKOUT

For tonight's workout, our target muscle group is back and biceps! I thinks it's not the first time that I have said that back workouts are my favorite. I really like how I have grown so much with working out, it's like I've molted to a new body that's sturdier and stronger.

The caffeine drink that I had tonight was this sting energy drink, it has the same effect as the cobra energy drink. I really like this berry flavor of sting energy drink more than cobra energy drink's berry flavor. But the cobra original flavor is still a solid 10/10! For the exercises that I'll be doing tonight for back and biceps are 4 back exercises and 2 biceps exercises.

BACK WORKOUT

As usual we should start our gym session with a good warm up and stretching. This will greatly lower our risk of injuries given that we practice proper form in our workouts. For the four back exercises, I started with pull ups. I did 1 set of body weight for 12 reps , 2 sets with 10 kg added weight for 12 reps and 20 kg added weight for 6-8 reps. The next workout I did was barbell rows in the smith machine, I did 3 sets of 60 kg for 5-8 reps and finished the rows with one set of tile failure with 40 kg.

I then proceeded with cable pulldowns with 70 lb for 2 set with 8-12 reps, and then 120 lb for 2 sets with 8-12 reps and finished it of with another 70 lb but this time until failure. And for the final back workout I did cable lats pulldowns to fully engaged the left energy I have left in my back. I did 70 lb weight for 4 sets with 8-12 reps and finished it of with one set of 40 lbs until failure.

BICEP WORKOUT

For the bicep exercises I only did two. I did single hand dumbbell preacher curls with 25 lbs for 4 sets with 8-12 reps and followed by alternating dumbbell hammer curls with the same weight to 5 sets for 8-12 reps. And that basically sums up my workout for tonight, I did the weighted pull ups as a modification in my workout plan in hopes to build a stronger back and hopefully master muscle ups someday and some how.
