EPL Matchday 17 continues as Chelsea host Manchester City at the Bridge in a cruncher tie that is a must win for both sides.

With both teams on equal points, but Chelsea better off with a superior Gola difference whilst City have played 2 games fewer, they(both teams) will definitely be going all out to claim all 3 points. A win for either side today can place the victor tentatively on 3rd position and 4 points behind league leaders Liverpool and Manchester United.

No doubts about it, anybody would give City the higher chance of getting the win as a result of the following reasons:

1. Performance: Just like their city rivals Manchester United, City have been in amazing form of lately with a huge 10 matches unbeaten run(7 wins and 3 draws) in all competitions being its end result. What makes their run even better than that of the red devils is the fact that City hardly let in goals(they have only conceded 2 goals in all 10 games). Chelsea on the other hand have been practically dismal losing 3 of their last 5 games in the process. It will be extremely difficult to see the Blues get a victory over City with this form.

2. Head To Head: In their previous 8 meetings, City have gotten the better of Chelsea on 5 good times, lost on 2 occasions, and managed a single draw. This stat show how domineering City have been over Chelsea, and it could have a great psychological effect on both teams.
   However, Chelsea should feel better considering the fact that their 2 wins over City were the most recent visits Pep's men had to the Bridge. This should be a good morale booster for the London blues.

Another boost for the blues is the most likely return of Hakim Ziyech to the squad after being sidelined for a long time due to injury. Chelsea's poor runs of game can be largely said to be the result of the absence of their talisman winger. It will be a great one for Lampard to have him back. City on the other hand are most likely to be without the services of Kyle Walker, Joao Cancelo, Gabriel Jesus, Ederson, and Ferran Torres due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak in their camp. This will definitely be a huge blow for Pep and City.

A draw would be fair for both sides, but we know a win is the real deal, and both teams will be going all out for this.

We should definitely get an entertaining game between these 2 sides.
