According to numerous sources in England, the 2021/2022 season may be the last for Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United bromance.
From the statement, the five-time Balon d’Or winner is understood to be unimpressed by the current situation of things at Old Trafford. Ranging from his role, the quality of players around him as well their attitude in training.

David De Gea statement:

To show how down, the sheep at Manchester United has sunk, Shot-stopper David De Gea made some shocking statements.
According to the Spaniard, it is hard to figure out what is wrong with Manchester United. Insisting that despite all trials, their has been very little to show for it. Finally, De Gea suggested that maybe the club has been cursed or something.
Surely, these are scary statements made by a player of David De Gea's magnitude.

Ronaldo's arrival:

The return of Cristiano Ronaldo to Old Trafford was met by lots of excitement from the fans. Ronald delivered from the onset. Scoring two goals on his debut.
Yet, few months after, Manchester United have sacked their manager, got a new one and still looking as pathetic as ever.

Summary:

Ronaldo made it clear, he was not at Old Trafford to battle for fourth place. He was there to win titles.
If the players alongside him cannot develop the title winning mentality, then he may well be saying his good byes.

I don’t blame him, he is known for having a winner mentality unfortunately his team players are not giving him that energy.

Hmm, well I think otherwise.

United shouldn't have signed him in the first place, or he shouldn't have joined them.
