Alex Carey loosing vice captaincy

Alex Kerry said his absence from the vice captaincy was not an obstacle to his personal aspirations to take Australia to white ball cricket in the future. Since the first day of professional cricket 28 year old South Australian captain Aaron Finch has been known in many circles as a potential successor.

Many were not surprised when he was named Finch’s deputy within a year of his ODI debut. He shared with Pat Cummins before the Australian decision to return to the more traditional leadership set for Australian white ball cricket.
