It was a sad moment for the whole United Kingdom as the longest serving monarch Queen Elizabeth II passed on.

The queen died on Thursday, 8th September 2022, Balmoral Castle, United Kingdom after 70 years on the Throne.

As a mark of respect for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the English premier league and The English football association paid tribute to her majesty the Queen, by postponing all Matchweek 7's fixtures.

We all missed the premier league for that weekend as we all as well mourn the death of the Queen.

We all missed the premier league

Actually, I can honestly say I didn't miss it that much. Yeah it was a shame the games didn't go ahead and fans couldn't express their own marks of respect to Her Majesty en masse in the way fans do in such tragic events.

But the powers that be decided postponements were the order of the day. I just went off and did something else instead. As much as I like and follow football, (and some may argue that being a Saints fan i don't really ... lol) life goes on, and true to form Saints underformed against another struggling side and lost in a tight battle.

thanks to Jacob Ramsey's wonderful finish which made the difference.

I'd argue that it was a wonderful finish though, more luck with the way the ball was bouncing around the area, off the bar, and other players. Just happened to sit niocely for him. But that's just me.

A good recap of the games though, enjoyed reading it.

Thanks for sharing

Nice to see Premier League is Back again.

I love to see premier league matches. Specially this season I'm supporting Arsenal.

As a brazil fan, I like to see Gabriel Jesus, Martenelli & Gabriel playing in the field. They all are playing really well this season.

Also Arsenal is in the top of the points table. It's looks pretty nice 😃. But last few season they didn't play well. At presently, Mikel Arteta's team looks solid.

Hope they can end this season well.
