Every season in English premier league is always with different surprises and this season got me with so many surprises can't lie, I love it.
makes the sport more fun and Intresting to watch.
The league started with Chelsea and Manchester City leading and at week three, Everton was at sixth position with two wins and a draw, while Arsenal on the other side was a disaster, losing to newly promoted Brentford FC, Chelsea and Manchester City respectively.
Yeah, you can laugh about that.
Manchester United also started pretty well at the beginning of the season, having 7 points from possible 9 points , at 3rd position after week 3 as well
But then it's the English premier league, you never can tell what will happen in weeks to come.
Arsenal got so hopeful to finish at top four but slipped out of their hands after losing three games back to back to mid-table teams , crystal palace, Everton and Southampton. I actually felt bad for young Arsenal squad, but then it's football games like this makes it more spiced up.
They rejuvenated and found themselves in top four after winning four games in a role but got dropped to the fifth position after week 37 with a shambolic display to newly owned Newcastle United.
Good news to Everton that survived relegation to stay up to play English premier league next season.As the over joyous fans was seen invading the pitch immediately after the full time whistle last night
The season was spiced up with two-horse race between the title defender, Manchester City and title contender, Liverpool , leaving the suspense to the last game of the season to decide who wins the 2021/2022 season, Despite been at the forefront, it was a frustrating season for Manchester city as they dash their hope of winning the UCL( UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE) for the first to Real Madrid.
It was a painful one even to me because I wanted them to taste the win but then it is what it is...
At the red side of merseyside (Liverpool) it is a wonderful season so far as they look forward to celebrating quadruple win after winning the carabao cup and the emirate FA cup against Chelsea ,getting to the finals of the UEFA Champions League to face real Madrid on the 28th of may and a deciding last game of the season to win EPL, if Manchester City should draw and they win.
We look forward to the closing fixture dramas on who wins the EPL between Manchester city and Liverpool, A top-four race between north London rivals (Tottenham and Arsenal)
And finally who survives relegation between Burney and Leeds.
The English Premiere league is always full of surprises, that's one of the reason I enjoy following up.
