Here we go again with this week review, with high scoring fixtures

The early fixtures on Saturday saw the cherries (Bournemouth) with a wonderful comeback against the Foxes of Liecester City, as Daka put the Foxes leading going into half time but the cherries rose with a wonderful display from Solanke.

As the cherries won on home soil with goals from Billings and Christie. The defeat saw Liecester City in the 20th position with just 4points from 9 matches, while Bournemouth enjoys top half of the table with 12 points from 9 games.

Potter's Chelsea team recorded a convincing 3-0 home win against the Wolves, thanks to goals from K. Havertz, Pulisic and young Academy graduate Broja scoring his first goal for the Chelsea senior team.

The unbeatable City continues their high scoring and impressive runs at the Etihad stadium scoring 4 goals past the saints keeper.

J.Cancelo stole the show with a world class show, grabbing a goal for himself and setting up the current 15 EPL goals scorer E. Halland.

This brings us to the question of how many goals can this goal beast(halland) score in a single season, For the past 3 seasons the golden boot winners had 23 goals.

with just 9 games into his first season in EPL. Halland had scored 15 goals.... ( Let's leave this discussion for another day)
Manchester City defeated Southampton 4 goals to nil.

It was a Bruno Guimaraes show as Newcastle United cruise past the Bees of Brentford. The Brazilian midfielder scored two goals while Ivan Toney who never missed a PK scored from the spot kick to pull one back for the Bees, in a 5-1 goals encounter.

The last match of the day saw Antonio Conte's Tottenham Hotspur beat Brighton & Hove Albion 1-0 at the Amex Stadium through a goal from the Englishman Harry Kane, to continue their strong start to the Premier League (PL) season, although this was just their second win in their last five contests across all competitions.

Son saw a goal ruled out in the closing stages for offside as Brighton pushed up the pitch and left themselves vulnerable to the counter.

On a difficult day for the Seagulls, they struggled to match their attacking outputs from last weekend, with Anfield hat-trick hero Leandro Trossard unable to influence the result as Tottenham saw out a victory that solidifies their top-four position in relative comfort.

The super Sunday matches were the most interesting and intriguing ones as Crystal Palace claimed their first Premier League win since August, coming from behind to battle past Leeds United at Selhurst Park.

Patrick Vieira's men are fierce on their own turf, losing just two of their last 13 home matches (W7, D4).
In a similar fashion, West Ham United came from behind to make it seven wins in 10 games by beating Fulham 3-1 at the London Stadium.
The Cottagers have now lost each of their last five trips to the Hammers' home ground. Another Brazilian running the show( Lucas Pequetá)

Arsenal returned to the top of the Premier League in dramatic fashion as they beat Liverpool 3-2. The Gunners, who had failed to even score in their last six clashes with Jürgen Klopp's side, bagged all three points through Bukayo Saka's late penalty to end an eight-match winless run against the Reds.

Gabriel Martelneli gave Arsenal the lead inside 60 seconds of the game receiving a through pass from captain Ødegaard.

Liverpool got back into the game as Darwin converted a cross from Diaz to level the scoreline but The Gunners retook the lead in the last minute of the 5mins added time before half-time.

That gave Mikel Arteta's side a huge lift going into the break, and Odegaard should have doubled the lead after the resumption when shooting straight at Alisson from close range. He was made to pay for that miss when Roberto Firmino equalised with a pin-point finish into the bottom far corner minutes later.

Arsenal took the lead for the third time with a spot kick from Saka as Thiago Alcantara brought down his fellow Brazilian Gabriel Jesus in the Box

Liverpool, who grew more and more frustrated, had no response to going behind for a third time, throwing numerous long balls forward but failing to test Ramsdale, whereas Arsenal had appeals for a further spot-kick turned ignored when Jesus went down in the box. The Reds have now gone without a win in five on the road, while also slipping to 14 points behind Arsenal as their struggles continued.

The match between Lampard's Everton and Erick's Manchester United was decided before halftime as Iwobi gave the home side the lead curling home the ball in a superb way but the Red Devils responded through the new signing Antony grabbing his 3rd goal since his Debut against Arsenal.

World famous CR7 hit another landmark as he scored his 700th club goals in his career.
United won away from home to sit 5th on the table with 15points from 8 matches

Monday night football returned with the Forest hosting the Villains
The Nigerian Born striker Emmanuel Dennis gave the home side the lead as Aston Villa vintage Young grabbed the equaliser before half time. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Villa's late pressure, while concerted, never yielded much quality as they drew a second successive road trip. Gerrard's men have now won just one of their last seven PL games, failing to win any of their last six on the road. Conceding first yet again scuppered the Midlands outfit, as they've now won just one of their last 24 games when the opening goal has gone against them. They remain perched just above the drop zone, sitting four points clear of newly-promoted Forest.

Let's see what week 11 brings

The week was loaded with many drama, I expert Haaland to score more, but then it's all good, Cancello did exceedingly well and the Arsenal win is not something I envisioned.
